After the Readers has given you their notes.
Wait a minute. I thought I was finished. After months of rewrites with my editor and after I'd netted and tied in her final edits, I assumed it was publishing time. OH, NO. . .
Now that the "readers" are presenting their takes, it's time to address the issues of consistency, word craft, and listening to the rhythm of sentences. This should be the fun part. The culturing of creative license, like I do when writing poetry. Not the same here.
This is where a synopsis comes in handy and polishing each peril on a golden chain. Now it's time to put to use all the lessons taught during the Master's Writing program. Only then will the necklace shine on the sands of time.
